On the one hand it’s a very simple concept and a silly bit of fun.
On the other hand it’s an immersive experience for the visitor, as well as a platform for animators to showcase work that would otherwise go unseen by the general public.

Flatpack is a mobile arts organisation which exists to show amazing work, bring people together and develop new ideas. They love film in all shapes and sizes, particularly where it bumps up against other artforms, they get a kick out of transforming spaces to create unforgettable events.

As the old saying goes, laughter is the best medicine. Faking laughter can bring on the same physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter - increased endorphins, stress-relief, to name a couple. But, why fake it when you can have the real deal…?
Drop-in for free at our Festival Hub from 21-22 May - plenty of opportunity to come and sample the animation chosen especially to put a smile on your face. They’re all nice and short as well, so you won’t have to leave your friends behind for too long.
