On the one hand it’s a very simple concept and a silly bit of fun.
On the other hand it’s an immersive experience for the visitor, as well as a platform for animators to showcase work that would otherwise go unseen by the general public.

The Cardiff Animation Festival 2026 will take place over the weekend of 24th-26th April.
Cardiff Animation Festival presents a vibrant programme of cult favourites and new titles, celebrating animation memories and childhood nostalgia. Including: creative workshops, feature films, an exhibition, short film programmes, filmmaker Q&As and fun social events.
